• What is your current library relationship: visit weekly, libby addict, or hiding from an overdue fine?

My Libby account has three library cards attached. We do not have a local library to visit. We get a county card and use Libby. For years I purchase my books at yard sales, secondhand books, stores, and bookstores. The books that I have had in boxes for years, I pull them up on Libby and then donate the book.

• What required reading from school do you have a strong memory of, for better or worse?

Great Expectations - I just couldn’t finish it. The story was too weird at the time. When my daughter had to read it many decades later, she enjoyed it. Maybe I should give it another shot.

• Fall TV premieres used to be an event. Now shows appear year-round with no warning. How do you find out about new shows without a TV Guide?

My son keeps me up-to-date. He knows what we like to watch and informs us of which new shows we may enjoy.

• What is your #1 hobby?

Right now it is traveling. We love to explore new places as well as revisiting our favorites. At least once a year we rake a family vacation. We have replaced the traditional beach vacation with cruises and trips to Disney. It has been our greatest joy.
